Don't ya think?

i*ro*ny-n.-a. Incongruity between what might be expected and what actually occurs;
b. An occurrence, result, or circumstance notable for such incongruity.

Example: One of my kids scored 100 on his Spelling test. Yet, he spelled his name wrong.

Hm. Take a lesson, Alannis.

The thing with Alanis's song is that most of the stuff she mentions falls in the category of unfortunate..and not necessarily ironic.
